Debate No. 11

10 Lines...

Again, for all those of you who enjoyed my "Characters Guide" in Debate 4.  If you would like to contribute, please contact me: amarisee@yahoo.co.uk

It is all harmless fun.  Once again, I wish to point out that I am a romantic at heart and I deeply love the story (would I be here, otherwise?).  I have a tremendous respect for Ryoko Ikeda, and anybody who worked on the animated series (even the guy who delivered the tea to the Artistic Team).   It DOESN'T mean that I don't have a sense of humour, or a sense of sarcasm for that matter...  Hold on, sit tight, and read on!

Andre: "Hum... for your date, Oscar, I think a bit more red on the lips would be quite appropriate."

Girodelle: "That's no bother, Andre, I'll be happy to do this for you myself."

Oscar: "Calm down, Andre, this is not the place or time to get excited!"

arie-Antoinette: "No, Mme Bertin, the more I think about it, the more I think last year's sober designs will be fine again this year."

Oscar: "Count Fersen, could you please leave me alone?  I have some dress-making arrangements to discuss with Nanny."

Anybody to Oscar: "Watch out!  It's BEHIND you!"

Girodelle: "Let's get down and dirty!" (Weeell, maybe in the live action movie version (...) and not in the way I meant it there!)

General Jajayes: "What about interrupting our practise to give you a little quality time with your mother, my dear girl?"

Alain: "Well, Commander, it looks like I am just in time for tea.  Sugar?"

Bernard: "Rosalie, you know what?  I really like that friend of yours.  I think Oscar should come over more often." (This one is more obvious in the Manga)

Berusaiyu no Bara; Lady Oscar: All Rights Reserved Ikeda Productions 1972-1973, Tokyo Movie Shinsha Co. 1979-1980.
